MTR Hong Kong Station|Hong Kong Art March. Relive the original Hong Kong comic classic "Cowboys accompany you to find memories on the journey of creation exhibition"

Description
In the 1970s, Hong Kong comics flourished and became a collective memory of the citizens. Wong Sima, the founder of the "Cowboy" comics, together with Wong Ze, who created "Old Master Q" and Li Huizhen, who created "Thirteen Points" at the same time, are known as the pioneers of Hong Kong story-based comics and laid an important foundation for local comic culture. Among them, "Cowboy" used humorous four-frame comics to delicately depict the various aspects of life of the citizens at that time, becoming one of the classics of newspaper comic strips. During this year's "Art March", the MTR Corporation specially presents the "Cowboys Accompany You on a Journey of Memories Creative Exhibition", allowing the public to relive the unique Hong Kong comics sentiment during their MTR journey and pay tribute to Wang Sima's classic works.
The exhibition will be held at the MTR Hong Kong Station. For the first time in 40 years, it will display the precious manuscripts and classic paintings loaned by the descendants of Sima Wang. It will also invite more than 20 local artists to create new works, reinterpreting this classic comic in different styles, continuing the collective memories of Hong Kong people. Participating artists include Lam Hoi-fung, Eric Kot, Gigi Leung, Lee Chi-tat, Joey Chu, Shek Ka-ho, Yeung Hok-tak, Siu Hak, Lai Tat-wing, Chen Ali, Yeung Tin-ming, Man Seng, Cuson Lo, Pen So, b.wing, Paul Lung, Steven Choi, Don Mak, John Ho, Prodip Leung, Knoa C and Bonnie Pang, who will showcase the profound impact of Cowboy on the Hong Kong art scene through their new creations.
A 1.3-meter-high "Cowboy" sculpture is specially set up at the exhibition site, allowing railway fans and Hong Kong comics enthusiasts to check in and take photos up close. In addition, a giant four-frame cowboy comic mural will be exhibited simultaneously in ten MTR stations, presenting the "Cowboy" works reinterpreted by Wong Sima and several contemporary artists, allowing passengers to connect the diverse faces of the past and present through comics during their daily MTR journeys, allowing passengers to feel the changes of the times and witness the development of the city.
